North American based organization J.Storm quietly announced that they had recruited Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho as a coach, earlier this week. The announcement came in the form of a tweet from the organization saying that DeMoN was to stand in for the team during BTS' King's Cup.
DeMoN has a long career in Dota and has represented some of the biggest teams on the scene, such as Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, Fnatic, and compLexity Gaming. However, the last few years of his career has seen him floating further and further away from the absolute top of the scene. That's why it came as no big surprise when he, this summer, announced he would retire from competitive Dota. It now looks like he has found his place on the scene as a coach, rather than as a player.
For J.Storm as an organization, this is a great pick-up. DeMoN has, as previously mentioned, played at the very top level of Dota 2 and the team his coaching is newly formed. While the team was an instant success and managed to qualify for the Kuala Lumpur Major, there's surely a lot DeMoN can help them improve upon.
