Supervising Esports Editor - North America (Full-Time)

We expect you to:

  • Assign and communicate content production with writers/freelancers
  • Copy-write and proof-read content from daily news cycle to unique content creation
  • Recruit freelancers and coordinate deadlines for pitched content
  • Organize editing and publishing responsibility with other editors to ensure smooth transition of work between regions
  • Ensure content quality and number of content published on weekly/monthly basis is fulfilled
  • Track and ensure content workflow for main articles across multiple departments (social media-marketing, graphics, etc.)

You have the following qualifications:

  • 2 years’ minimum experience in editorial process and writing
  • Ability to travel and produce on-site event coverage
  • Comfortable writing general news-related esports content
  • Experience managing staff members and pushing necessary deadlines and responsibilities
  • Familiar with League of Legends/Dota 2/Counter-Strike esports and pro-actively plays games

Social Media Manager (EU) [Full-time/On-Site]

We need someone to make sure our content is pushed, not just when it’s ready, but when most people are likely to read it. For that, we need a little social media magic.

We expect you to:

  • Comfortably and naturally manage all Twitter/Facebook delivery and curation
    • You’re personally active on Twitter and Facebook
    • You know when to push for optimal reach
    • You are familiar with tracking SoMe KPI’s
    • You are able to create content campaigns and marketing plans
    • You are ready to maintain informational databases.
  • Coordinate with other brands’ social media teams across the world
    • You’ll be doing recurring cross-promotion of content published between brands
  • Maintain Live-streaming and VOD/YouTube formatting
    • Including titling/tagging to capture largest market

    • As content comes in, you’re quick to set it up, so it’s ready to head back out

You can tell the difference between Helvetica and Arial, and you probably have a comment or two about how these job ads are layouted. Well, if that’s the case, we have good news for you. We’re looking for someone with exactly that skill set!

As our graphic designer,

We expect you to:

  • Articles
  • Template Layouts Designs for Featured Pieces
  • Social Media (Video, GIFs, Images)
  • Cover Art for Videos (YouTube)
  • Graphic-based Articles (Magazine Covers, Infographics and more)
  • Consult with our content team to maintain style and colour scheme for both article presentation, infographics and site features/additions
  • Cooperate with writers in creating art assets that are customized precisely for the intent of the content, its tone and intent

  • Establish article formatting guidelines and presentation templates for publishing
  • Ensure licensing and crediting of image usage from third-parties

    From fragmovies to interviews, highlight reels to venue tours, esports coverage benefits greatly from the presentation. Nobody wants to watch the same static camera angle for 8 minutes straight, no matter how interesting the source.

    But you know this already, don’t you? That’s why you’re reading it. Well, did you also know we’re hiring?

    As our video producer,

    We expect you to:

    • Produce and edit all relevant video (and sound) content
      • Written: highlights, montages and more.
      • Stand-alone: featurettes, interviews, profile pieces, venue tours.
    • Shoot video/sound for on-site event coverage content.
    • Collect B-Roll footage to be used for future work and content.
    • Create video graphics relevant to the content being produced, including (but not limited to):
      • Name plates
