The rumors that we've previously reported on are true: Digital Chaos have acquired the roster from Animal Planet. The team will take part in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit Minor, GESC: Indonesia Minor, on March 15th, and are looking to compete in numerous qualifiers in the upcoming months.

Digital Chaos now operates in three esports titles, the other games being PUBG and Rainbow Six: Siege. Their new Dota 2 roster contains the following players:

"Since it's inception in 2015, Dota 2 has been the core of Digital Chaos. I'm thrilled to be re-entering the Dota 2 scene with the signing of Animal Planet and look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the second half of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit," Digital Chaos' CEO Greg Laird said in a statement. "It's great to be working with familiar faces for the organization with players that have proven they know what it takes to compete at the highest level."

Aui_2000 also commented on the acquisition, saying: "we are looking forward to working with an established organization like Digital Chaos. With their commitment to teams and players we hope to have a successful Dota 2 season."

Digital Chaos left the Dota 2 scene in December 2017 after falling short of multiple qualifiers for both Minor and Major tournaments, despite multiple roster changes. Animal Planet was formed in early January of this year, made by players who had no organisation to call home following roster shuffles.
