... kNg has seen no such punishment yet. It's unlikely that he'll get off with just a slap on the wrist, however, seeing as how Ryan "fREAKAZOiD" Abadirwas docked two months pay and forced to attend a bullying seminar after insulting NaVi star Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev's pale skin. With that kind of precedent, and multiple sources saying that kNg had to be restrained by coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes in his Montreal hotel to keep him from hunting down FNS, the troubled Brazilian star will almost certainly incur big penalties.
So when kNg posted on Twitter yesterday that he was "heading back to Brazil, and will be there for a while," and with Immortals' CEO Noah Whinston promising a thorough internal investigation, many thought kNg had been suspended by the team.
Not so. Although kNg will miss a significant period of time -- a chunk of ELEAGUE Premier group matches, apparently -- it is solely to complete his P1 visa application, which grants international athletes permission to play in the US.
IMT sixth man, João "horvy" Horvath, is also in Brazil sorting out his own P1 visa application. The team has not revealed who their sub might be, but zakk could stand-in as he did for part of DreamHack Montreal.
