The first day of the first-person perspective portion of the PUBG Global Invitational 2018 has concluded, and five clear leaders have been established.
Oh My God, who placed fifth overall in the third-person perspective competition, are firmly in the lead with a 860 point lead over WTSG in second place. The Chinese team managed to build up such a monumental lead by winning three of the day's four rounds, finishing in second place in the one round they didn't end up winning. The rest of the teams that currently round out the top five are AVANGER, Natus Vincere, and Team Liquid.
Gen.G Gold was the team to beat coming into today, considering they won so convincingly in both the third-person perspective competition and in the Charity Showdown. After today's action, they are currently sitting at an underwhelming eleventh place - tied with Four Angry Men (4AM) at 520 points.
There are four more rounds to be played until the PUBG Global Invitational is wrapped up, it'll take something special to dethrone Oh My God. The eventual victor will take home an additional $400,000.
