Team Empire disband leaked by tournament organizer

According to the Twitter of tournament hosting platform EPULZETeam Empire disbanded this morning. After unsatisfactory results in both the Major and the Minor qualifier, the team seems to have decided that change is needed.

The information was revealed as tournament platform EPULZE had to find a replacement for Team Empire in their X-Bet.co Rampage Series. Empire was supposed to take on Underdogs in a match there but due to the disband EPULZE was forced to find a replacement, Helsinki REDS.

Team Empire has not released an official statement on the matter yet, so it is not known if this is them replacing a few players or releasing the entire squad. We will update this article when more information becomes available.

Team Empire's original roster:
— Pos 1: Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev
— Pos 2: Vladimir "Chappie" Kuzmenko
— Pos 3: Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidyonov
— Pos 4: sayuw
— Pos 5: Igor "Maden" Modenov

Team Empire had a rocky last year and that seems to have spilled over to that roster. Not only did they fail to qualify for the first DPC events of the season, as previously stated, they also failed to get out of the group stage in the currently ongoing Maincast Autumn Brawl tournament.
