Pimp reveals he is selling hot dogs to get by

Much respect to Jacob "Pimp" Winneche not only for doing what it takes to make ends meet, but being comfortable enough to reveal a less-than-glamorous job for a pro player to his entire stream.

At age 22, Pimp is already an accomplished CS:GO veteran. He's played for preeminent organizations like SK Gaming (before they were Brazilian), Team Liquid, and Team Dignitas. He's played in high-profile LAN playoffs at events like ESL One New York 2016. Now? He does analyst work at offline events, and sells hot dogs at his local soccer stadium. While many ex-players wouldn't be willing to admit their day jobs to fans that look up to them, Pimp was willing to share that with his stream. The online response has been overwhelmingly positive, with most fans on reddit wishing him good luck and inspired by his humility.

Again, kudos to Pimp. It takes a lot of courage for someone that is something of an esports celebrity to admit to a new "normal" lifestyle.

source: pimpCSGO | Twitch

  • Thorin tells unbelievable stories of Dosia speaking English on "By The Numbers"

Thorin tells unbelievable stories of Dosia speaking English on "By The Numbers"

Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov doesn't even seem like a real person at this point. He's like a cartoon caricature of himself.

The "X-God," as the CS:GO community has dubbed him, already had a cult following, which reached feverish levels after he won the PGL Major and threw a now-immortalized H.E. grenade in the grand final. Known for his, um, rugged looks, stoic in-game expressions, and history of dating stunningly beautiful women, Dosia might be even more legendary after the most recent episode of "By The Numbers," a podcast hosted by Richard Lewis and Duncan "Thorin" Shields.

Thorin retells the only two occasions he's ever heard Dosia speak English. The first, which came at a bar, was a horribly pronounced attempt at the word "vodka." The second, well, let's just say it was very on-brand for the X-God.

source: RichardLewisReports | Twitch

  • Seangares gives rare, in-depth breakdown of Astralis outplaying SK

Widely recognized as one of the smartest North American in-game leaders, Sean "seangares" Gares of Misfits gives a really informative player-by-player breakdown of a textbook Astralis A split on Cache. The round came against SK Gaming in a playoff win at the PGL Major Krakow. Astralis won the series 2-1.

Not many pro players have the time or energy to do novice-friendly content like this, where they go through every piece of an elite team's strategy that leads to a round win. Decision-making at the highest level of Counter-Strike always comes down to careful planning and split-second choices, all of which go well for Astralis here. Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the game or an inexperienced fan, this is worth a watch.

tldw; seangares shows how Astralis gained complete control, inch-by-inch via perfect utility, of Mid on T-side Cache, cleaving the map apart until they had an unstoppable A execute.

  • French sensation ZywOo drops 37 in FPL against JW

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut is 16 years old with a 1.42 Rating. That does not happen.

For months now, ZywOo's mystery has grown in French Counter-Strike and sprouted dozens of questions. Can he do this when he inevitably gets signed to a better team than WySix and has to face stiffer competition? Is his exremely low 45.2 percent headshot accuracy a sign that he's undisciplined? Is he cheating, as a large contingent in the community believes? Well, we won't be getting answers to any of those questions anytime soon. In fact, with every 30-bomb ZywOo drops on his opponents, his persona looms even larger and more nebulous.

His latest demolition came in FPL competition against a team with Jesper "JW" Wecksell on it. ZywOo finished with a ridiculous 37/12 KD over 26 rounds. Check it out.

source: YouTube | Antho botwiN

  • SuperstituM back with tribute to CS:GO's biggest personality

Infamous CS:GO highlight editor, SuperstituM, is back at it again with his signature comedic videos. The subject of his latest creation? None other than Mohamaed "m0E" Assad, ex-pro player-turned-streaming-superstar. M0E, who has been called "the DJ Khaled" of Counter-Strike by some, always makes a cameo in SuperstituM's videos, so it's about time he gets his own feature. This will undoubtedly lead to a "m0E reacts to "How m0E really plays CS:GO"" video, by the way, so keep an eye out for that.

source: SuperstituM | YouTube
